Covid-19 Statement

16 March 2020 - HYGIENE POLICIES

Covid-19 has affected businesses and everyday lives in the Northern Hemisphere countries and is now showing signs of following a similar pattern here in South Africa.   We have learned lessons from those already affected and can therefore do what we can to minimise the spread of the virus.

To this end Intercal has taken the following steps to protect our customers and staff:

  • Disinfection of all customers equipment upon receipt and again at dispatch.
  • Regular ongoing education of all staff in hygiene and other preventative measures such as social distancing.  Breaks have been staggered to reduce the size of congregating staff.
  • The issue to all staff of sanitising sprays and other personal protective equipment.
  • Frequent cleaning of all common areas and surfaces including vehicles.

Intercal will continuously assess the situation and will implement further measures as required to ensure that we do our part to protect the health of the community.

The fight against COVID-19 remains a collective responsibility and we advise all customers and other persons to also follow the personal hygiene guidelines as set out by the WHO and the National Department of Health.

Intercal was able to operate as an essential service during Covid-19 lockdown and with the opening of the borders, is now operating at full capability. Rest assured that should South Africa return to strict lockdown in the future, Intercal will be avaiable to keep your business runninng.  If you find your equipment calibration has expired then please contact us on:
